3. Use of this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that breaches applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or is fraudulent, harmful, or offensive.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website, its servers, or any systems connected to it.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.

5. Enquiries and engagement of services

Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a contract or commitment on either side. A contract for services is only formed when we have confirmed acceptance of your instruction in writing.

All services are subject to a separate written agreement or letter of engagement, which will set out the specific scope, fees, timescales, and conditions applicable to your instruction.

We reserve the right to decline any instruction at our sole discretion, including where accepting it would conflict with our professional obligations or applicable law.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client instructions and information with strict confidentiality. We will not disclose details of any engagement to third parties except where required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

Clients are similarly expected to treat any information provided by Opsytech Ltd — including operational methods, personnel details, and reports — as strictly confidential.

7. Fees and payment

Fees for services will be agreed in writing prior to commencement of any instruction. We reserve the right to require a deposit before work begins.

Invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

All fees are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be applied where applicable.

8. Cancellation

Cancellation terms will be set out in your written agreement. It is appreciated that situations change with little or no prior warning, particularly in respect of the planning of surveillance deployments. However, due to the time and expense incurred in resourcing and committing to planned operations, the forfeiting of the deposit will be enforced if there is a cancellation under 24 hours prior to deployment.

Where work has already commenced, you will be liable for fees in respect of work carried out up to the point of cancellation, plus any reasonable expenses already incurred.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Opsytech Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from the use of this website or the provision of our services.

Our total liability to you in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the relevant instruction.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
